Inkforge Terms of Use
1. What Inkforge is
Inkforge is a browser extension that converts documents you provide into article formats and images, and helps you paste them into publishing platforms. It is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Medium or any other platform.
2. Your content and rights
You keep all rights to your content. Only import and publish content that you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for the content you publish, including its accuracy and any third-party material in it.
3. Platform rules
You are responsible for following the rules of the platforms you publish to, including Medium's Rules and its AI content policy. Inkforge never publishes on your behalf. The recommended route has you paste and publish each part yourself. Auto-insert is an optional, experimental feature that is off by default; you enable and use it at your own discretion.
4. AI features
AI features are optional and use the provider and key you configure. AI output can be wrong; review it before publishing. When AI helps write text, Inkforge adds a disclosure line because Medium requires AI-assisted writing to be disclosed. Keep that line or replace it with your own disclosure.
5. Free to use
Inkforge is free for personal and commercial writing. Please don't sell it, repackage it, or publish modified copies under the Inkforge name. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms (see LICENSES.txt).
6. Optional support
You can support Inkforge with a voluntary tip (for example through Buy Me a Coffee). Tips are donations. They don't unlock features, buy support or create any obligation, and they're handled by the tipping platform under its own terms.
7. No warranty
Inkforge is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Third-party platforms change without notice, which may cause features to stop working.
8. Limitation of liability
Inkforge is a free tool. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PinPixels is not liable for any damages arising from its use, including indirect, incidental or consequential damages, lost content, or any account action a third-party platform takes.
9. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated; continued use after an update means you accept it. Questions: pinpixels@gmail.com.
This is a plain-language template for a free tool. A quick review by a lawyer is still a good idea before wide distribution.
